Greetings, World Travelers! We had quite the exciting day at EPCOT, and were here bright and early to bring you all the latest news. Let’s get started!
We were the first guest to Der Teddybar for the Annual Passholder Exclusive shopping event today. This door was actually set up as the exit, and since all of these shops are connected, we waited in the queue set up at the entrance on the corner.
Inside the event, Annual Passholders were given a first look at a brand new Germany Pavilion merchandise line, which was so large it filled the whole first room. Mugs, sweatshirts, t-shirts, coasters, tank tops, youth shirts, and more were all available with various new designs showcasing your pride for the Germany Pavilion.
Also exclusive to the event was merchandise featuring the iconic Annual Passholder magnet artwork in several forms. Classic Mickey, Chef Mickey, Chef Minnie, and Chef Remy were all available on t-shirts, phone cases, and MagicBands.
After we left the event, we checked in on the rest of the park. The scaffolding has returned to the construction area surrounding the lucite pylons at the front of the park. The scrim fabric has been cut this time to allow for better air flow.
The refreshment stand near the Mexico Pavilion appears to be on it’s way to returning, but isn’t quite ready to open up yet. It’s missing a few carts and it’s in quite the right spot.
The construction box in the American Gardens Theatre has expanded in length since last we saw it, now meeting up with the edge of the planter.
We found a new plexiglass barrier in the Mexico Pavilion to help maintain distance in between those waiting in line and those standing and enjoying their drinks. This seemingly random wall is helpful when this Pavilion becomes more crowded.
In the Germany Pavilion’s model train area, a train derailment had a Cast Member hard at work resetting all the cars back on their track. A special took was used to line up each car’s wheels onto the track so they could lock in place. We could have watched this all day!
In merchandise news, we found two Limited Edition pins today at Pin Traders. This one is the latest in the All Stars series, and features Goofy. It retails for $17.99.
The next Limited Edition pin is the latest in the Cereal Boxes series and features Timothy the Mouse. It also retails for $17.99.
In food related news, which in our opinion is the best news, there is a new seasonal beer available at the Eats at the EPCOT Experience booth. The Pina Colada Sour by Collective Arts Brewing is available for $9.75 while supplies last.
We found two returning favorites back in the cold case at Karmell Kuche in the Germany Pavilion—the Gingerbread Salted Caramel Buttercream Cookie Sandwich and the Werther’s Pumpkin Cupcake. We highly recommend either of them!
We’ve seen some long lines for the most popular attraction here at EPCOT, but today’s took the cake. The line for Frozen Ever After stretched all the way to the entrance of House of Good Fortune, the merchandise shop in the China Pavilion. The wait time at the time of this photo was 75 minutes.
We had a great day at EPCOT, and we hope you enjoyed coming along with us. Have a magical day!
