Lightsaber hilt pieces are now being sold separately outside of Savi’s Workshop in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
The hilt pieces were previously sold separately, with guests who have already built their own lightsaber being able to grab some “scrap metal” for $19.99 a piece.
Guests can scan a QR code to view the items available and also look at scrap metal in a set of drawers (after sanitizing their hands).
There are four different types of lightsaber pieces.
Peace and Justice
Power and Control
Elemental Nature
Protection and Defense
The items in the drawers are for display only. Once you’ve had a look at all the spare parts available, you can visit the counter and tell the Cast Member what you want. They will then pull them from the stock behind the counter.
One piece is $25, but they’re $20 each when you buy two for a total of $40.
The pieces attach to a base hilt only available when you hand-build a lightsaber in Savi’s Workshop. But these options are perfect for anyone who wants to customize their lightsaber further.
Savi’s Workshop recently reopened with social distancing and we visited to check out the new procedures. Watch our video from the experience below.
