SoReal VR is coming to Shanghai Disney Resort’s Disney Town shopping district. SoReal will be taking over the lakeside building that previously housed The Boathouse.

In the U.S., Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort and Disney Springs at Walt Disney World previously housed The VOID VR experience, but it recently closed at both locations.

Mickey Mouse and Joe Schott, President and General Manager of Shanghai Disney Resort, presented a golden key to Qi Xiao, CEO of Beijing Qitian International Cultural Technology Development Group Co., Ltd.

Construction on SoReal will begin soon and it is scheduled to open sometime in 2021.
