It’s been almost two years since Shanghai Disneyland announced their upcoming Zootopia-themed land, based on the 2016 movie. Amidst other Disney Park experience updates, Shanghai Disneyland shared a photo of the land currently under construction.

Construction has come a long way since the first steel column went vertical back in June.

Zootopia will be Shanghai Disneyland’s first major expansion, and the park’s eighth themed land. Its major new attraction will “seamlessly blend Disney storytelling and state-of-the-art technology to bring this fan-favorite movie and its characters to life”, according to Disney Parks Blog.
