Hello from another lovely day at the Magic Kingdom! It was a bit chilly in the morning, but soon warmed up and turned into a perfect park day. We found plenty to show you, so let’s get started!
Checking in on construction at the front of the park, work has continued on the walkway connecting the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa with the Magic Kingdom front gate. This section is all that’s left undone on the walkway from what we can see.
Inside the park, Cinderella Fountain is still drained, and no new noticeable progress has been made.
The large construction box has been removed from Tomorrowland around the location of the former sign for Stitch’s Great Escape. The sign was removed and the concrete around the sign was replaced.
Four more supports of the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover were painted white recently. These two are closest to the Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company, and are now white.
The next two is this pair, which is closes to the Cool Ship. With the painting of these four supports, only a handful remain grey, and will no doubt be painted white soon.
We happened to catch a large piece of illuminated canopy being installed today at the construction site of TRON Lightcycle / Run. We watched as this large piece was hoisted up, then guided into place by the workers on the scaffolding with ropes, lowered down, and finally secured into place.
With all of our construction projects checked on, we could move on to other exciting things, like this handsome fellow! This year’s Christmas tree popcorn bucket has sold out, so this Santa Mickey popcorn bucket has come out to save the day. He is available for $18 at all popcorn stands across Magic Kingdom.
The new Spirit Jersey face mask has arrived at Walt Disney World, and is sure to put you in a festive mood! We found these in sizes Medium through Extra Large for $12.99 at The Emporium.
A new Limited Release 12 Days of Christmas 2020 Mystery Pin Collection debuted today, and it comes packaged in an adorable Christmas tree box.
With twelve pins in the collection featuring popular characters such as Orange Bird, Br’er Rabbit, and the Hitchhiking Ghosts, this is sure to be a popular collection. Each box contains two randomly selected pins, and is available at Frontier Trading Post for $19.99.
We found a fun youth Spirit Jersey featuring an all-over cosplay design of R2-D2 today that Star Wars fans are sure to love. There are even designs down the sleeves!
The back has just as much detail with “Star Wars” across the shoulders. We found this at Tomorrowland Light & Power Co for $49.99.
We found a new 25th Anniversary Limited Edition Toy Story MagicBand featuring all your favorite Toy Story characters. We can’t pick a favorite part of this MagicBand! For more pictures and information, see our article here.
We found Piglet riding the Trolley around the Hub with Eeyore and Rabbit wearing their holiday scarves on our way out of the park today. We love seeing the characters all dressed up for the holidays!
We had a wonderful day at the Magic Kingdom, and we hope you had a good time coming along with us. Have a magical day!
