We finally got to step back into a Disneyland Resort theme park today as Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure opened up shopping and dining. Follow along as we tour all of the stores with their new social distancing measures and holiday decorations.
There are social distancing markers on the sidewalk to control capacity of each store.
There’s only one entrance and one exit on each side of the street.
On one side, guests will enter through Elysian Arcade into Trolley Treats, and then exit through different Elysian Arcade doors.
Trolley Treats
A Cast Member outside had a handy brochure listing all the holiday sweets at Trolley Treats.
Inside, candy-covered Christmas decorations hung from the ceiling.
More social distancing markers lead to the registers.
There are numbered floor signs at each register.
Altwater
The Altwater room holds mugs and pins.
Some registers throughout Buena Vista Street have circle floor markers at the registers instead of the numbered signs. The markers match the vintage theming of Buena Vista Street.
Of course all the open registers have Plexiglass dividers.
Julius Katz & Sons
Kingswell Camera Shop
Five and Dime
On the other side of the street, guests enter through Five and Dime and exit through Elias & Co.
Big Top Toys
Cast Members were doing a great job of keeping everyone distanced and making sure masks were worn.
Elias & Co.
The children’s room of Elias & Co. has small Christmas trees.
After the children’s room is the women’s department.
Next is the men’s department.
The final room has beautiful silver garland with red accents. Plus, plenty of winter and holiday merchandise.
