With spring break crowds dwindling, Disney appears to be making some changes in anticipation for reduced crowds this upcoming week.
Beginning April 5, Harambe Market will be closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Harambe Market will be available to guests Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10:30AM – 3:00PM.
The operating schedule for Harambe Market has remained a bit scattered since the COVID-19 Pandemic. Guests who visited the park immediately following the COVID-19 related reopening will recall that the dining location did open open for another four months after the rest of the park, finally reopening in November of last year. Beginning January 4th of this year, the Market was operating on a weekend-only schedule.
The favorite dining location at Disney’s Animal Kingdom features African cuisine along with alcoholic beverages, desserts and even plant-based options. Those visiting the park in the upcoming week might want to plan their trip around the weekend if they hope to grab a bite to eat at Harambe Market. Those visiting the park earlier in the week can still grab some grub at Satu’li Canteen at Pandora – The World of Avatar, Yak and Yeti Restaurant in Asia and more.
