Nothing says summer like s’mores! Today we stopped by the Roaring Fork at Wilderness Lodge to try one. The Roaring S’more features chocolate mousse, graham cracker cake, and a caramel marshmallow.
Roaring S’more – $5.79
The edible glitter on the marshmallow center is very shiny in the display case.
Each section of the triple-layer treat is stacked up high. The layers are uneven, and so this s’more doesn’t present as nicely as other Disney desserts.
Look at that glitter glimmer in the beautiful Orlando sunshine!
The large toasted caramel marshmallow tops off the treat and tastes great.
A white chocolate Mickey with “paint splatter” rests on the soft marshmallow. The mousse underneath was a deliciously rich, dark chocolate.
The graham cracker cake layer crumbled when the Roaring S’more was cut. It was a nice, moist cake with a honeyed undertone.
The slightly rubbery marshmallow layer concealed a surprise: a sticky caramel filling with crunchy crisp pearls. It added a nice texture to the overall s’more.
The Roaring Fork has another hit on the menu as this s’more was delicious. We would definitely order this again.
