With the announcement that Walt Disney World would be removing or reducing six-foot physical distancing in some areas, we’ve been keeping an eye out for changes. As of this weekend, cars are no longer being spaced out in theme park lots. We specifically noticed this when parking at EPCOT.

Previously, Cast Members would direct cars into every other parking space, so guests would have space between them as they exited their vehicles. The empty parking spaces would then be filled later in the day depending on how busy the park became.

Cast Members are now directing guests into every parking space in a row.

The six foot distancing requirement has been removed from some signs throughout Walt Disney World. Masks are also no longer required outdoors.

  1. This might of been the stupidest rule WDW put in place. Cars socially distant, ridiculous!

  2. That really stinks. This is one thing I would love to keep from going back to normal. I’ve had my car dinged a few times in the Disney parking lots as there so close together. Really enjoyed having it spaced out.
