It’s time to fiesta! Walt Disney Imagineer Zach Riddley has announced the triumphant return of The Three Caballeros audio-animatronics to Gran Fiesta Tour with an inside look at their time off-stage. You can stop by the Mexico Pavilion at EPCOT to see the three amigos back in action today.
After a nearly four-month-long absence, it’s nice to see our fine feathered friends back on stage in 3D. The audio-animatronics have been around since the opening day of the Magic Kingdom as part of the “Mickey Mouse Revue.” They spent a 26-year stint at Tokyo Disneyland before returning to Walt Disney World in 2015.
An Imagineer hand-paints details on the audio-animatronic of José Carioca.
“A shout-out to our Imagineering team who lovingly restored these historic Audio-Animatronic figures from the ground up using the latest technology to replace components that were originally made by hand almost 50 years ago.”

Wonderful news! Hopefully this means they’re back for good now.
Great! If they were restoring and refurbishing, why didnt they just make a statement. Instead it was like they were kidnapped with no ransom demand from the kidnappers
Maybe they just wanted to keep it quiet so the Cast Members wouldn’t be pestered about when they would come back.
That was happening already because no announcement was made
Oh. Well, then. Apologies for being so ignorant.
