It’s been over a year since Ample Hills Creamery closed at Disney’s BoardWalk, but ice cream is finally returning. Just in time for summer, a sign went up today for the new BoardWalk Ice Cream, and we were able to peek in at the new space.
The new venue will be opening today at 3pm. Weekday hours will be 3pm – 10pm, and weekend hours will be 12pm – 10pm.
The shop will serve ice cream and sundaes to go.
It looks like only what absolutely had to be changed was, with wallpaper covering Ample Hills art.
Physical distancing markers are set up in the queue, though they are not six feet apart.
Disney’s BoardWalk Inn is set to reopen to the public on July 2nd. Currently, only the Disney Vacation Club Villas are open at the resort.

Seriously? Why don’t they just change the name of Disney World to Florida Theme Park?
