Change is the name of the game over in the Morocco Pavilion at EPCOT. With the pavilion “under new management” (Disney took over control last fall), there have been many design changes around the area. Currently, much of the pavilion is closed, including the restrooms, Restaurant Marrakesh, the meet-and-greet, and more. We stopped by to see what’s new.
A new sign is in place outside the pavilion, likely to help direct guests around the planter wall. A similar sign was formerly mounted on a pole outside the pavilion, but it was removed during the takeover.
Next, we checked in on the progress at the fountain. Planters still barricade the area. Inside, work lights have been set up around the area.
A signpost is staged atop trash barrels.
On the lagoon side, Oasis Sweets and Sips has a new painted marquee.
Nextdoor to Souk-al-Magreb, the façade for Mahal Zrabi Tanja also has a new, painted marquee. The building is part of Souk-al-Magreb, but the exterior of this section is themed to a carpet shop.
Near The Art of Henna and Tangierine Café (both currently closed), a themed logo has been added to the wall above the decorative spice cart.

They messed up with the Arabic spellings, it’s from right to left and they just wrote letters instead of the whole words
