Hong Kong Disneyland’s next big expansion is Arendelle: World of Frozen. The Frozen land will include a mountain and Elsa’s ice palace, with Arendelle shops below. We took a look at construction earlier this month, but now HKDL Fantasy on Twitter has shared photos of what appears to be Elsa’s ice palace taking shape.
The tallest point of construction on the Arendelle mountain appears to be in the same spot as Elsa’s palace in concept art.
It’s possible then that this beam jutting out of the top will be a palace spire.
The mountain is still surrounded in scaffolding, but mesh sculpting is visible on the right side.
The sculpting leads up towards the ice palace location.
Arendelle: World of Frozen was originally scheduled to open this year but has been delayed due to COVID-19 and a new opening date has not been announced.
