Since Disneyland Resort reopened last month, we’ve been taking note of all the changes around the park. From physical distancing markers to new meet and greet formats, operations all around the park have shifted to accommodate COVID-19 safety measures. Let’s take a look at the Disneyland Railroad, which has changed its loading procedures.
Guests can only board the Disneyland Railroad at the Mickey’s Toontown Station. The other stations are exit-only for now.
Physical distancing markers are in place every six feet throughout the queue.
Cast members direct guests to available rows, maintaining the required distance.
Two empty rows are left between parties.
We had a lovely view of “it’s a small world,” with the Matterhorn peeking through in the background.
Of course, we had to snap some photos of our favorite dinosaurs.
The train stopped at the other stations to allow guests to disembark.
It’s so fun to get a peek inside Splash Mountain from the train. We hope they keep the tunnel when it gets rethemed to The Princess and the Frog in the future.
