With things returning to normal around the parks, unfortunately prices are not staying the same. While browsing a few wand shops this afternoon, we noticed that the prices of each style of wand (regular, interactive, and collectible) have all increased in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Take a look below at our findings.
Recently the Ollivander’s Wand Experience increased capacity to allow multiple parties per room. Standard wands previously were priced at $49 and now have been increased to $55. With capacity increases also comes price increases it seems.
Interactive wands that were previously available for $55 have now jumped up to $59.
Finally, limited edition collectible wands that were once $70 have now increased to $75.
Wands are also available for purchase online. The price increases are reflected there as well.
How do you feel about the increase in prices for wands? Let us know in the comments below.

Insane prices
Of course Go With Higher Prices
Make People Spend As Much As They Can
If prices go up, the accuracy should get better IMO
After studying the wands in great detail, many of the official wands are off in shape, colour, size ect…you would think they wold have taken and used molds from the screen used but obviously they didnt like us to have exact replicas….shame!
I am thankful that I bought mine before the increase, though I think the increase is a bit absurd unless the cost in material has gone up (which is unlikely). I still absolutely LOVE Universal and the price increases wouldn’t stop me from going, but it would stop me from purchasing more wands from them.
Raw material prices, and the cost to ship them have skyrocketed. This increase does not surprise me.
Hasn’t gone up that much. Most wands are sold out online…
Yep… We tried to purchase in the theme park two weeks ago, and there were only a few types of wand left (hazel, hawthorn, elder and some character wands). By the time we left, four days later, there were only two. Apparently this is the first time in Universal Studios’ history that they have ever run out of wands like this. MAJOR supply chain issues all around this year.
Suggestion: Order online, and early, if at all possible, if you have your heart set on a particular style of wand. That’s what we should have done. We ended up borrowing my daughter’s wand to play a little bit, but it was still somewhat disappointing.
