A popular Universal Orlando Resort experience has increased its capacity. Ollivander’s Wand Shop in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter increased capacity limits today. Let’s take a look.
A line quickly formed outside Ollivander’s in Diagon Alley. Physical distancing markers are still in place in the outdoor queue.
The previous reservation system is no longer being used.
A Team Member uses a counter to keep track of how many guests enter the experience.
Once inside, guests wait in a group to proceed to the experience. This is the first day that vaccinated Universal Orlando guests may go maskless indoors.
Up to 14 guests are permitted in each room. Multiple parties are allowed. Universal had previously increased capacity at Ollivanders in January, but quickly reversed course.
The wand selection experience remains unchanged.
The increased capacity is noticeable, with more guests crowded into the space.
After exiting the experience, guests enter a crowded store.
A long line of masked and unmasked guests wait to make their purchases.
