An interesting Magic Kingdom interactive object is once again amazing guests. The kugel fountain in Tomorrowland is back on. This is the first we have seen the fountain functional since the Magic Kingdom reopened nearly one year ago.
The Tomorrowland kugel fountain is located near the elevated Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover track.
The ball, which allegedly weighs nearly six tons, rests atop a base. The fountain provides a thin layer of water between the ball and the base. The ball is able to hydroplane across the water. This allows guests to effortlessly spin the heavy ball.
