A rainy day at Walt Disney World is better than a gorgeous day anywhere else! Join us as we travel around the world at EPCOT and discover what the future has in store. Then, hop over to Magic Kingdom to see Cinderella Castle get into the holiday weekend spirit. Let’s jump right in!
The first thing we spotted this morning was a brand new Limited Edition Jungle Cruise MagicBand. This band features Emily Blunt and Dwayne Johnson, who star in the upcoming film “Jungle Cruise” which is set to premiere later this month. The new release is LE of 2,000 and available for $39.99 over at Pin Traders.
Take a look as construction continues around Future World. Today we saw that doors have begun to be installed at the all new Creations Shop.
We found another new sign today in the Mexico pavilion, which helps point guests in whichever direction they may need to go.
Geir Ness, the Norwegian fragrance designer, could be spotted over in the Norway pavilion this morning. He is pictured above with his popular fragrances, Laila and Geir, which have been a staple of The Fjording for many years.
We found an adorable Mickey flower display created by a custodial cast member in Italy!
It seems that all of the new festival booths set up in preparation for 2021 Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival have had registers added to them. To learn more about this year’s festival click here.
Over in America, we discovered a new 2021 D23 Gold Member Collection display. These have been added around the parks to encourage guests to become D23 “The Official Disney Fan Club” Gold Members.
نبتهج! In Morocco, we found that the fountain area inside of the pavilion has officially returned. This area has been under refurbishment, but we are happy to see it opened once again and looking more beautiful than ever.
Race Against the Sun has reopened along with the new fountain area. We found that all of the previous physical distancing protocols have been removed inside. We also noticed that pieces from some displays seem to be missing.
We were happy to see that the waterfall inside of the Canada pavilion was back and flowing once again today.
Mickey and Minnie say “see ya real soon!” to guests leaving EPCOT.
Next, we hopped over to Magic Kingdom to catch the recently returned Happily Ever After
After the nighttime spectacular, Cinderella Castle was illuminated in red, white, and blue to celebrate the 4th of July weekend. There were even stars projected onto the bottom half.
