BREAKING: Walt Disney World Has Stopped Sales of Most Annual Passes Ahead of Busy Holiday Season

With many Park Pass Reservations on peak days already gobbled up for the rest of the 2021 calendar at Walt Disney World, the sale of most annual pass options have been temporarily halted.

All but the Disney Pixie Dust Pass are no longer being sold for the time being. This means guests can not currently purchase the Disney Incredi-Pass, Disney Sorcerer Pass, or the Disney Pirate Pass. The Disney Pixie Dust Pass is the ticket with the most block-out dates, many of which are in November and December, so it makes sense that it is still being sold.

Disney has not stated when sales of other annual passes will resume. Renewals for existing annual passholders will remain available at this time.

  1. Really doesn’t make sense to me. What if I was buying an annual pass for a Christmas gift? With park reservations now, I know there is always a chance that park is full.

  2. Chapek detests annual passholders because his “data” shows we spend less. Hes said so on camera. That park reservation system was never about maintaining low covid-19 safe capacities. It was for maintaining low AP capacities. Go look at the park res system for “APs” or “Magic Keys”, then look at the calendar for “Tickets”. The former is completely booked til January. The latter is completely open every day this year. Chapek has used covid-19 as an excuse to block, price gouge, cut, a la carte pricing for previously inclusive services, etc. He has to be removed by the Board. I have no doubt he is dangling those empty trams like a carrot, and will bring them back for an additional fee. Now he wants to start online gambling under Disney ESPN. He is the antithesis of Walt Disney.
