Returning for another year at the 2022 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is Farmers Feast. However, this year, the booth is trying something completely new: three different menus rotating throughout the festival.
Onions, peppers, and herbs dangle from the ceiling, adding a kitchen-inspired touch to the design of the Outdoor Kitchen.
Be sure to look up to see vegetables growing on the roof, becoming “tomorrow’s harvest.”
At the opening of the festival, you’ll be able to taste the Early Bloom menu, which will be running until April 9, and also what we’ll be reviewing below. Starting April 10 and available until May 21 will be the Springtime menu. Lastly, the Summer Solstice menu will be available from May 22 until July 4, the last day of the festival. Stay tuned for our reviews of the other two menus as they debut.

*NEW* Chilled Potato and Leek Soup “Vichyssoise” with Chive Oil and Crispy Leeks – $5.00
This is served chilled. The potato and olive oil work well together, and the crispy chives add to the bite. This would be great cold or warm.
It’s also a good value, as it’s definitely one of the bigger offerings we’ve seen. This was awesome!
*NEW* Chargrilled Bison Ribeye with Creamy Leek Fondue, Roasted Carnival Cauliflower, Romanesco and Port Wine-Goat Cheese Butter – $8.00
This was another solid offering.
The bison was well cooked and tender. Meanwhile, the leek fondue had the consistency of spinach and artichoke dip, but it was really well-flavored.
The cauliflower nicely rounded out the dish, leaving us satisfied.
*NEW* Goat Cheese Creamsicle Pop: Goat Cheese Crémeux, Orange Cream, Olive Oil Cake, Cranberry Sauce and Praline – $4.75
Despite the use of “creamsicle,” this wasn’t frozen. It was actually creamy, more like a cheesecake.
The goat cheese is subtle at first, but it definitely lingers.
This was a great dessert. Each element has a different flavor profile on its own, but all together, it’s amazing.
*NEW* Collective Arts Raspberry Lemon Verbena Whole Leaf Steeped Sparkling Hard Tea, Hamilton, Ontario (5.0% ABV) – $5.00 for 6 oz., $9.00 for 12 oz.
From Collective Arts Brewing: “Bright and herbaceous Lemon Verbena and Green Maté are blended with all-natural dried raspberry and butterfly pea flower herbal tea, giving this Sparkling Hard Tea both its mesmerizing purple color and lightly sweet blend of citrus and fruit flavors.”
Hibiscus Lemonade Cocktail featuring Islamorada Brewery & Distillery Hibiscus Gin ($32/bottle) – $11.00
The first sip of this beverage was extremely tart, to the point that it made our mouths pucker. After letting the ice melt a little bit, this was a really nice lemonade option. The strong notes of hibiscus and the dry gin help balance out the sour lemonade. If you enjoy tropical hibiscus flavors and dry gin, this would be a refreshing choice!
