Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney’s Beach Club Resort is famous for its Kitchen Sink Sundae, which Cast Members used to announce to the entire restaurant by a raucous display of yelling, sirens, and clapping. The tradition was suspended in October 2020 due to health and safety concerns as yelling and cheering could create more infected droplets in the air.
As of at least today, St. Patrick’s Day 2022, the tradition is back.
Twitter user @ProfNarcoossee shared a video of a Cast Member announcing the Kitchen Sink Sundae to the restaurant while sirens went off. The video only includes the end of the announcement, when the Cast Member approaches the table and calls for applause, but presumably, the entire announcement including the list of ingredients is back too.
A big part of the tradition is the Cast Member yelling, “A whole can of whipped cream!” and guests replying, “A whole can?!”

I hate this. I took my mom there in September 2016. Our conversation was interrupted no less than seven times by Kitchen Sinks and birthdays. I now plug my ears in full view of everyone else. Unfortunately I can still hear it.
This was happening when we went on 3/12. Very cute!
