The Shanghai Disney Resort will be closing its doors once again due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The park will close on March 21, 2022 until further notice.
Last week, the resort started reducing crowd capacity and suspended indoor shows amid a surge in COVID-19 cases.
China is facing its worst wave of COVID since the original outbreak in Wuhan, with cases of the highly-infectious omicron variant surging over 1500 per day nationwide, according to the South China Morning Post.
Hong Kong Disneyland also announced last month that its park would be closed until April 20, 2022.

I’m surprised China is still having problems with it while we’re are fine with our rates going down. What’s going on do they still have the first strain or are they refusing the vaccine.
The only real difference is that the CCP isn’t worried about the midterm elections.

China’s response is “COVID Zero” which is essentially aimed to eradicate the virus. However, the rest of the world has learned that COVID will never 100% go away so the best they can do now is to let it run its latest course, treat with therputics and protect the most vulnerable. CCP wants full control of its people so none of their COVID policies make sense.
