Pixar has announced “Elemental” — their next film after this year’s “Lightyear” — releasing on June 16, 2023.
The logo for “Elemental” features a rainbow of dynamic letters. The description reads “In a city where fire, water, land, & air residents live together, a fiery young woman & a go-with-the-flow guy will discover something elemental: How much they have in common.”
Pixar also shared concept art of the main characters, fire and water elementals, walking down a city street. “Elemental” will be directed by Peter Sohn, who previously directed “The Good Dinosaur,” and produced by Denise Ream, who produced “The Good Dinosaur” and “Cars 2.”

While I hope it’s good, it seems like Peter Sohn directed the two worst Pixar films. Maybe this one will break his bad streak.
