The holiday season has begun at Disney California Adventure with the kickoff of the 2022 Festival of Holidays, and you can get a jump on your holiday shopping with all of the festival merchandise!
We found most of this merchandise in the booth located near The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure in Paradise Gardens Park.
2022 Festival of Holidays Spirit Jersey – $87.00
First up is this black Spirit Jersey, which brightens up the event with its many gold sparkles.
The festival and park logos are featured in gold on the front.
The back reminds us that it’s “a time to celebrate.”
Both the front and back have a pattern on the bottom and sleeves with holiday iconography like Christmas wreaths stockings, piñatas, and luminarias, Hanukkah menorahs, dreidels, and gelt, and Kwanzaa kinaras and African drums, interspersed with park landmarks like Mickey’s Fun Wheel, the Red Car Trolley, and Carthay Circle Restaurant.
2022 Festival of Holidays Mug – $19.99
For that perfect cup of hot cocoa… or hot cider… or you know, good old coffee or tea, there’s this black mug, where the festival logo is in yellow, and the park logo is in white, surrounded by white stars.
Keep an eye out for the outline of Mickey Mouse’s head on one of the stars!
The opposite side features a stocking, piñata, luminaria, drum, ornament, candle, and a Chinese lantern.
The interior is a solid black.
2022 Festival of Holidays Cookie Jar – $34.99
What’s a holiday without cookies? Store them in this festive cookie jar, which notes the year.
The yellow lid has a handle shaped like Mickey’s head, just so you know it’s a Disney souvenir.
2022 Festival of Holidays Hooded Sweatshirt – $64.99
Gear up for the colder months with this brick red hooded sweatshirt.
The front has the logos in yellow, surrounded by blue, red, and yellow stars (and one Mickey).
The back also says “a time to celebrate,” but several letters are replaced with similarly-shaped holiday icons.
2022 Festival of Holidays Stainless Steel Tumbler – $27.99
Meanwhile, be sure to visit select counter-service restaurants around the park to pick up this royal blue stainless steel tumbler. It comes with your choice of fountain beverage, coffee, hot tea, or hot cocoa at the time of purchase.
Much like the other items, this has plenty of holiday and park icons, but they’re arranged to form the outline of Mickey’s head.
The Disney California Adventure logo is embossed on the opposite side.
Mickey’s head also appears on the tab on the lid.
It also comes with this nifty-looking lanyard and holder.
The logos are in purple on this white strap. Previously, pins for the festival were released earlier in the month.
But the fun doesn’t stop with shopping. The Festival of Holidays takes over the whole park through January 8, with plenty of food to try at marketplaces, along with live music and dancing from groups like Tina and the Sounds of Celebration!, the Mariachi Divas, Mostly Kosher, Blue13 Dance Company, Phat Cat Swinger and The Mistletoes. For character fun, check out the Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party, and keep an eye out for Santa Claus in Redwood Creek Challenge Trail!
