You can combine the most iconic Christmas treat with the most iconic Disneyland treat with the Candy Cane Churro. It’s joined by a Peppermint Bark Dipping Sauce. You can find them both at the churro cart nearest Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Candy Cane Churro – $5.75
Peppermint Bark Dipping Sauce – $1.50
Chocolate fudge infused with peppermint and topped with crushed candy canes
This candy cane churro is still very much a churro, and brings all the satisfaction of that classic Disneyland favorite. But it does have an added hint of mint, only a very slight note courtesy of the red sugar that it is coated in.
This would be perfect for someone who really wants a churro, but also kind of wants to be festive. The peppermint bark dip is similarly light on the mint flavor, with the chief note being chocolate ganache that is thick and rich to overpower it all.
But when the candy cane churro is brought together with the peppermint bark dip, the double dose of mint works out to a more noticeable flavor, getting us to a near 50/50 split between peppermint and chocolate flavor representation.
Overall, we enjoyed this festive treat that still says “Disneyland” a little louder than “Christmas.”
The holiday season at Disneyland runs from November 11 through January 8.
