Two new LEGO Harry Potter sets will soon bring more of the Wizarding World to store shelves, with both releasing next month.
Gringotts Wizarding Bank – Collectors’ Edition – $429.99
This massive Collectors’ Edition Gringotts Wizarding Bank set is packed with details, and includes references to both the first and final Harry Potter films.
Fans can get their hands on this build when it releases next month, on September 4, 2023. LEGO Insiders will get early access to order this set starting on September 1.
This set is comprised of 4,803 pieces and 13 minifigures, and is recommended for ages 18 and up.
Once constructed, the build will stand at 30 inches tall and 13 inches wide.
Not only does this set include the bank building itself, but also three levels with an underground vault on each, connected by a spiraling vault cart track.
You can stack the two models on top of each other, and top them off with the Ukrainian Ironbelly dragon perched at the top to emulate the building as it’s seen in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Diagon Alley at Universal Studios Florida.
The vault cart track also has a mechanism that stops the cart at each of the three underground vaults.
The 13 minifigures included with the set are first-year Harry, Hagrid, seventh-year Harry, disguised Ron and Hermione, Griphook, goblin bankers, a Death Eater, and bank guards.
The set also comes with three Galleon LEGO pieces, representing part of the currency found in the Wizarding World.
The set fits right in the with the Diagon Alley LEGO set.
LEGO Harry Potter Advent Calendar – $44.99
A natural fit into the holiday season, a new Harry Potter Advent Calendar is also releasing next month. Preorders are already open, and shipments start on September 1, 2023.
This Hogsmeade themed advent calendar set includes 227 pieces, six new minifigures, and is recommended for builders ages 7 and up.
The back of the box features 24 punch-out doors that hide a variety of surprises, including those six new minifigures and 18 mini builds that bring the magic of Hogsmeade to life.
This set includes the first-ever Aberforth Dumbledore minifigure; he’s the purple minifigure with long gray hair shown in the photo above. Other minifigures included in the set are Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Draco Malfoy, and Madam Rosmerta.
The box also folds out to create a play space for all of the builds and minifigures inside.
The 18 mini builds relate to many recognizable businesses found in Hogsmeade, including The Three Broomsticks Inn, the Hog’s Head Inn, Zonko’s Joke Shop, and Honeydukes candy store. Each one has 2 to 3 builds relating to them.
