Sony wrapped up their 2018 E3 press conference with an exciting seven minute gameplay demo of the upcoming game Marvel’s Spider-Man.
The demo shows Spider-Man chasing down Electro throughout a prison. After unsuccessfully capturing the baddie, Rhino, Scorpion, and others escape, leaving Spidey stranded on an island prison against a slew of his biggest foes.
The demo shows off more of the game’s impressive traversal abilities and animations, as well as various attack combos that Spider-Man can pull off. The demo culminates in Spidey getting pummeled by the crew of villains and ends just as someone (or something) arrives to intervene.
If you’ve been keeping up with this game since its initial reveal in 2016, this video is more proof of the exceptional work being done by developer Insomniac Games. This is the first Spider-Man game in quite some time to be developed from the ground up to offer players an original and authentic Spider-Man experience.

Spider-Man will be released exclusively for PS4 on September 7, 2018.
