Cosmetics company and longtime Disney collaborator ColourPop has announced a new makeup collection, this time themed to Disney’s recently released “Haunted Mansion” live action film.

The collaboration was teased on social media on the evening of September 3, 2023, with a cryptic post on X (formerly known as Twitter):

The post reads “Not everything is as it seems…,” and includes a .gif of a glow in the dark Gliterally Obsessed body glitter gel that comes in a box featuring art of Madame Leota, and transforms from white to a ghostly green in the dark.

Popsugar revealed the full 10-item collection and its prices, which includes an eyeshadow palette, single eyeshadows, matte lipstick, and more. Read on to see the full collection.

The inner packaging also has a lenticular portrait of the Hatbox Ghost, who appears and reappears with a tilt of the cover.

New ‘Haunted Mansion’ Movie

The new “Haunted Mansion” film is directed by Justin Simien from a screenplay by Katie Dippold. It’s produced by Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich. It stars LaKeith Stanfield as an astrophysicist turned “paranormal expert” who assists Rosario Dawson’s Gabbie and her son Travis (Chase Dillon) when they move into the haunted house. It also features Owen Wilson, Tiffany Haddish, Danny DeVito, and Jamie Lee Curtis.

Director Guillermo del Toro was once attached to make a new film inspired by the attraction, and even turned in a script a decade ago, but this version never came to fruition.

“Haunted Mansion” didn’t see success at the box office during its opening weekend, with moviegoers still prioritizing “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer.”
