This is phenomenal. The pork is incredibly tender and well-seasoned. The slaw gives a nice crunch with a subtle heat countered by the apple cider gastrique. It’s also a good portion for the price.

This was presented beautifully, and the skin was very crispy. We questioned if this was actually from a booth. The fish is perfectly cooked and tastes like it could be served at a table service. The butternut squash purée and brussels sprouts salad also gave it a dimensional flavor that surprised us. We will get this again.

There weren’t a lot of Brussels sprouts in our Brussels sprouts, but this is a good dish anyway. It has all the flavors of a Thanksgiving dinner that you love in a bowl. There’s sweetness, heartiness, sage and spices, a crunch from the nuts. It’s enjoyable and one of the better vegetable dishes.

Gogi Pinot Noir, Santa Rita Hills, CA ($75/bottle) – $16.00

Gogi Wines notes that this wine offers “generous tea, blood orange and savory notes that have melded together nicely, carried by sleek acidity. The caressing finish reveals a sous-bois [earthy, forest floor] echo.”

Spiced Apple Old Fashioned Inspired Cocktail with Boyd & Blair Rum  ($22/bottle) – $12.50

It’s on the sweet side with spice on the back end. It’s more like a cold hot toddy than an old fashioned.
