Unnecessarily Spicy Yet Extremely Tasty Carolina Reaper Pepper Curry Wings with Creamy Cucumber Raita – $7.75

These are predictably hot. The spice was tolerable but intense, at least to our group who are accustomed to eating spicy offerings at Disney. You probably won’t find anything spicier at Walt Disney World right now. The sauce seems to be a paste applied to the wings and adds a bizarre layer to the texture before your mouth is overwhelmed by heat. Overall, this is a solid offering.

*NEW* Korean BBQ Wings with Gochujang Barbecue Sauce and Toasted Sesame – $7.75

It took a second for the spice to cut through the sauce on these wings, but the coating is crispy with juicy, tender chicken inside. These are extremely messy, but very tasty.

Garlic-Parmesan Wings – $7.75

These are super greasy. It’s hard to even get to the point where you can taste the garlic Parmesan because they’re so oily. Overall, the wings were mediocre. They aren’t crispy at all. We suspected it would be hard to mass-produce wings for an EPCOT festival and were not wrong.

Impossible™ Chicken Tenders Tossed in Buffalo Sauce with Plant-Based Ranch and Plant-Based Blue Cheese Crumbles – $7.75

For the money, you get a big portion size. It’s rather good, with an enjoyable Buffalo flavor. It does have a bit of spice. We’re still pretty shocked by the portion, as it feels gigantic. The Impossible “meat” is tasty and the plant-based ranch cools down the heat of the dish. It’s definitely a great option for plant-based eaters or carnivores who just want to give it a try.

Fried Pickle Spears with Dill Ranch – $5.75

These are pretty much your standard restaurant fried pickles. Note that they are spears, not chips. Some people think chips are superior. Some people like the spears better. We don’t really care one way or the other. The sauce on top has an unremarkable flavor. We would rather have a normal ranch.

Frozen Pomegranate & Raspberry Tea: Twinings® Pomegranate & Raspberry Herbal Tea Fused with Orange Ice Cream Molecules – $5.00

This is more of a typical theme park slush type of drink. It’s got a heavy pomegranate taste. It’s advertised as having an orange ice cream crumbled on the top, but it’s much more like an orange popsicle due to the consistency and flavor. There’s definitely nothing creamy about it. This one’s not so much of a stand out since it has a much more standard flavor profile to a slush you could get anywhere. Still, the cup is cute.

Pickle Milk Shake – $6.00

This is going to be one of the most talked-about items of the festival. It’s super milky on the front end. It has a strong dill flavor that lingers, but the dill overtakes the pickle. We would get it again, but if you don’t like pickle, you will definitely hate this shake. Of course, the cup that you can take home may be another incentive to try it.

*NEW* Boulevard Brewing Co. Space Camper Juice Nova Superstellar IPA, Kansas City, MO (9.0% ABV) – $5.75 for 6 oz., $9.75 for 12 oz.
From Boulevard Brewing Co.: “Juice Nova Superstellar IPA is an astronomical explosion of Mango and Passionfruit flavor and aroma bound in a nebula of cosmic haze. Offering binary bursts of Passionfruit and Mango with a superstellar 9% ABV.”
*NEW* BrewDog 95 Tropical Session IPA, Canal Winchester, OH (4.0% ABV) – $5.75 for 6 oz., $9.75 for 12 oz.
From Brewdog: “95 our new, low-cal Hazy IPA with only (you guessed it) 95 calories. This light beer has an all-star hop profile that conjures flavors of apricot and peach, with hints of citrus and light floral notes that come together on a delicate malt base. 95 proves that low calorie does not mean low flavor.”
*NEW* Crooked Can Brewing Company Raspberry Blanc Wheat Beer, Winter Garden, FL (5.0% ABV) – $5.75 for 6 oz., $9.75 for 12 oz.
From correspondence with Crooked Can Brewing Company, this is “a crisp, refreshing wheat beer brewed with raspberries and a touch of Chardonnay grape must for a subtle, wine-like acidity.”
*NEW* BRLO Wild Berries Hard Cider, Berlin, Germany (4.5% ABV) – $5.75 for 6 oz., $9.75 for 12 oz.
From BRLO: “Here tangy organic apple meets sweet wild berries. Rrrr – this tastes fruity-dry in the finish with notes of blackberry and cherry.”
*NEW* Ciderboys Pumpkin Spice Hard Cider, Stevens Pointe, WI (5.0% ABV) – $5.75 for 6 oz., $9.75 for 12 oz.
From Ciderboys: “Straight from the patch, with some spice to match, Ciderboys Pumpkin Spice puts a refreshing spin on the seasonal favorite. Sweet, juicy apples and pumpkin spice combine for a fireside treat you can enjoy on repeat.”
*NEW* Collective Arts Brewing Local Press Apple & Cherry Hard Cider, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada (5.8% ABV) – $5.75 for 6 oz., $9.75 for 12 oz.
From Collective Arts Brewing: “We start with Apple Cider and blend in fresh Montmorency cherry juice from Niagara escarpment. The final product is bright and colorful with a tart, fruity pallet and a rich, sharp nose. Like a sweet cherry pie without the buttery crust, this cider is a lovely indulgence in a glass.”
