Disney’s Animal Kingdom is celebrating Earth Day and the park’s 26th anniversary on Monday, April 22. In addition to rare character meet and greets this weekend, a special Goofy and Max meet and greet was available on Monday.
Goofy and Max Meet and Greet
Goofy was in his Camp Minnie-Mickey outfit from the defunct Animal Kingdom land. The look includes a cargo vest, flannel shirt, and ball cap. Max wore his classic red shirt, purple pants, and yellow shoes.
Special Earth Day meet and greets run through April 28. The characters appear in a rocky area of Discovery Island across from Pizzafari.
Earth Day and Earth Month celebrations also include new “Pocahontas”-inspired Magic Shots, limited-time food items, and more.
