More Character Costumes Revealed for Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point

Disney has shared the full set of character costumes coming to Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.

After giving fans a first-look at Mickey and Minnie’s outfits for Disney Lookout Cay, the new Disney Cruise Line private destination this January, Disney Cruise Line has now revealed the full set of outfits to be worn by Daisy, Donald, Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Chip, and Dale. The outfits have been designed by acclaimed Bahamian fashion designer, Theodore Elyett. The colorful looks were created to embody the spirit of Junkanoo, an annual Bahamian festival.

Within the looks, you can spot island inspiration, like fringe in Goofy’s vest, conch shells on Mickey’s shorts, a pineapple and palm trees on Minne’s purse, waves on Donald’s shirt, suns on Chip and Dale’s tops, and raffia, the Bahamian straw handiwork, making up the characters’ hats. Of the designs, Elyett said the following:

“I envisioned creating a collection that not only highlighted Bahamian culture, but one that also allowed Mickey and his pals to look and feel as though they were comfortably on vacation, island style. ’Junkanoo Fun in the Sun’ is an exclusive line-up of all things Bahamian, celebrating the beauty of The Bahamas, all tailored to match the varying personalities of Mickey and his pals.”
