Speaking of the unannounced surprises, I remember hearing a few months ago a rumor that WDW would be bringing out a bunch of rarely-seen characters for meet-and-greets throughout the theme parks during the month of October, in honor of the 40th. Hope that rumor comes true.
Sounds fun. Hopefully the "surprises" will be more exciting though.
