This podcast was a lot of fun! I’ve been waiting to hear about the DLR experience. Nemo Submarines are really cool, but that line is a killer. I prefer the DCA Tower of Terror over the DHS one as well. I’m stoked we talked you guys into checking out Monsters Inc and you enjoyed it, Nick! Sorry you didn’t think much of it, M.C. :-D The Space Mountain is really different in DLR. It was updated a few years ago with a new track, audio, etc. It also changes for Halloween too! Indiana Jones Adventure has three tracks like M.C. said. Either you got the same track at random or the other two tracks were closed for maintenance. Indy is one of my favorites at DL.
LA is dirty. lol Cinema glamorizes everything. If you were to have gone to Beverly Hills it gets nicer.
Lol, great podcast guys. I love that you guys got to experience trading in CA and agree with what we discussed after your last podcast lol:-) It’s so hard to trade in California, and because of the few locations to trade, any and all good traders are taken almost as soon as they are put in the box. The idea of pulling a variant or chaser from a mystery box is just ludacris in CA. This brings me back to my plea that you not encourage anyone to take D23 from Anaheim, because that’s the only opportunity we have to experience good trading lol (I pulled Abe from the mystery box on Sunday) :) Keep it up!
Indiana Jones hasn’t had 3 separate tracks in years. It used to have 3 tracks at the beginning, one being the fountain of youth, one being endless riches, and I forget the other. But two of the rooms haven’t been working in years, it’s like the Disco Yeti of DL. You will always go through the fountain of youth room now until they decide to refurbish it.
It is not really 3 different tracks but the walls and lighting changes to show “different tracks”. They from time to time change depending on your luck.
Hey, just thought I would mention that if anyone else is jealous of you for going to Disneyland(like me).The bluray for Sleeping beauty has a whole special features section on the castle walkthrough at DLR.Also the bluray for Nightmare before Christmas has a really neat ride through of the Haunted Mansion.And of course there are no rides on planet earth, (let alone Disneyland) that someone has not shot video of on youtube.(just in case anyone didn’t know, or think of it)Maybe that can lessen the jealous pangs a little.
