More Vinyl Collectible Mickeys

At the New York ComicCon recently, a new line Vinyl Mickey’s were shown off.

These are licensed by Disney and produced by a company called Play Imaginative and were debuted at the Singapore Toys, Games and Comics Convention in August 2011. There are 5 different styles to choose from. These new vinyl Mickey’s stand 6.5″ tall, are individually packaged in open window boxes and include a “design your own” figure.

No word on price or where to purchase these vinyl figures yet. Now, Vinylmation has been my gateway to a ton of other Disney toy collectibles that I had never seen before, but I think I’ll personally leave these alone for now. I do like the look and a couple of the styles, but would have to see a price point before possibly adding one. Let us know your thoughts on this new collectible  The first figure is called Vintage Mickey.

Next up is my favorite, Pinocchio Mickey.

The third one is called Porcelain Mickey.

And the fourth style is Robot Mickey.

  1. Honestly, THIS is the style that Disney should have used when they changed the molds. I like these figures for some reason. I think because it looks more “Mickey” than the current molds. Don’t get me wrong I’m not all “Death to new mold”, but these just look cool for some reason.

  2. These are very cool for what they are and I will certainly be trying to pick up a Vintage and Pinocchio whenever I can.

They would not have worked as a new style Vinylmation thou – these are clearly Mickeys and could not masquerade as other characters like the vinyls can.

  3. I love the vintage mickey, and I think he will be added to my collection, but then Im a sucker for anything Mickey, hence vinylmation.

  4. Looks like they will cost $30. I guess that’s not too bad for a 6.5″ Vinyl. These do look very cool.

    • The second picture shows the white design your own figure. It even comes with a pack of markers to get you started.
