Finally some Disneyland Exclusives for all those California folk who have sat by and watched two straight Park series dedicated to WDW. Disney has announced a huge merchandise lineup the celebrate the opening of Carsland and the re-opening of the reimagined DCA. Here is a look at the full catalog. It is chock full of shirts, pins, coins and of course… Vinylmation.
The three limited edition pieces will be on sale at the event on June 15th in Disneyland. The other 3″ open edition figures will also be out that same day and retail for $12.95 each. For the three limited edition pieces there will be a purchase limit of only one per person and will be found in Zone 3 at the event. The event takes place at the Animation Building in DCA. I was at the Carland preview yesterday. I was able to get all except Ariel’s Undersea Adventure, Passholder Exclusivena Vista Street/(Red Car Trolley?),Radiator Springs Racers 9″, and Red Car Trolley 9″. Right now they seem to be exclusive to one store in Carsland which will be the pin and Vinylmation trading store. the store is called “Radiator Springs”

YEAH!!!!!!!! Love the Ariel vinyl!!!! Two questions: Does anyone think that the 3″ open edition vinyls will be sold online or in WDW (especially since WDW specific open edition vinyls have been sold in DLR in the past)??? I ask because I won’t be going to DLR until August and don’t want to miss them.
Second, could Maria Clapsis have designed the open edition ones since she designed the LE ones?
If I were to guess I’d say these should be exclusive to DLR, but that’s not always the case. I’d also guess that they were Maria, but we don’t like to post without more evidence. Anyone pick them up? What does it say on the bottom?
I’m a Disney World fan and won’t be buying these, BUT these look great! Ariel and Grizzly are very nice.
Question—Can Zoe or someone from DV tell me what the SKU # is for the Ariel vinyl? I am hoping to try to order it from Disneyland Merchandising. Thanks.
Also, did it list the artist’s name on the bottom of the Ariel vinyl or any of the other 3″ vinyls?
