Here’s the deal… we are light on news from Disney these days. Sure, we have plenty of topics we can come up with to talk about in the world of Vinylmation, but we really want to hear from you. This week we will be reviewing Park 10, but we have plenty of time to open up the floor to all of you. Every week, we invite your comments and questions in the Mystery Mail Bag section, but this week, we want you to star the conversations. Pick a topic and get us started. Pick our brains and tell us what’s on yours. New collector? Ask us questions and get answers from us and the rest of our readers and listeners. Now, there are many ways to contact us, but the absolute very best is to leave a voice mail. I promise I will not let MC pick up the phone and try to talk to you.
Let’s Talk

Program it into your cell. Call us when you see some news break in the parks, at an event or on the web. Call us when you want to make a comment, start a conversation or as a question. The other ways are less interactive, but effective none the less. We would love to get the voice mail to give our voices a break from reading, but if you must, you can leave a comment here in the this post or email us:
So there you go. Whatever you want to talk about. From the latest releases to random collecting questions or just to get to know your DV podcast hosts better. The floor is yours. Let’s get talking.
With the official opening date of the New Fantasyland being announced recently as December 6th, if you could have Vinylmations for the new area (including Storybook Circus) what would they be?
If the 9″ Davy Crocket hadn’t essentially stolen its thunder do you think the Park 8 chaser might have been viewed a bit differently, and rank higher among Park chasers? I think that could’ve pushed Park 8’s passed Park 9 in the Vinylimpics!
I think the main problem with the chaser is that it isn’t accurate to Fort Wilderness Mickey. It’s Mickey as Davy Crocket. Casey Jones just took his old Davy design and slapped Mickey’s head onto it. If Davy Crocket had never been made, I think it would be more popular, but people would also say it was inaccurate, but as it is, I think people were able to see that it was essentially just a recycled figure.
Haunted Mansion releasing late September
Excuse me if this was discussed already but… Estimated popularity of upcoming series. IMO…
– Haunted Mansion will be popular but may have the same limited appeal like Pirates, plus seeing how some of them are kinda bland, it might stick around longer than expected.
– Classics Collection might go the same route like HAL if not overproduced. Might be a hit or miss series, notably on who is the chaser.
– Pixar 1. I can definitely see these be the most popular set this year if done properly. Some great & creative designs have been well thought-out as evident from the previews; I can only imagine the rest!
– SW2… Not sure how the reactions are about the human characters overall in this set compared to SW1. Same for the more obscure characters. Almost experimental. Let’s see how this sells.
