REVIEW: Beaches & Cream Introduces 3 Varieties of Loaded Fries

On a trip to the beloved Beaches & Cream at Disney’s Beach Club Resort over the weekend, I discovered that they are serving loaded fries now, similar in style to the Daily Poutine at Disney Springs.

For $6 each, you can get a rather healthy serving of one of three styles, or you can substitute them as a side with your entree for just $1.50 more.

Brown gravy isn’t my thing, but there were pretty good. The steak fries now gone from Plaza Restaurant live on here and any variety of these will be a better option than the Plaza Loaded Fries. SCORE: 4.5 out of 7.

There’s nothing crazy about the Chili and Cheese Fries but they are pretty good. SCORE: 4.5 out of 7.

The cheese and bacon fries were far and away our favorite, I would get these again in a heartbeat. I love the steak fries to begin with and they were just enhanced with some quality toppings in this case. SCORE: 6.5 out of 7.

So, on your next trip to Beaches and Cream, why not grab an alcoholic milkshake and some loaded fries?

  1. Your food reviews are the worst! First off, who judges on a scale of 0-7? And then you talk about processed cheese sauce as a quality topping? And stop being so negative and crying just because something you liked changes. You should really leave the food reviews to someone who knows what they are talking about.

    • I’m going to have to agree with this person on the food reviews. It seems you come in pretty biased when something changes, automatically rating it lower just because it’s new. I really do like this site, but I’m finding it harder and harder to see the validity in any of these reviews since they always come out so negative.

    • I disagree, the review was based from his perspective and he can score them how he sees fit. I like this site. I don’t notice a bias because something is new. Part of the issue is the fact (not opinion) that Disney is cost cutting, so older items usually yield to lower quality, yet more expensive newer ones. Hard to like less quality, paying more. Just saying’.

    • We try very hard to be fair and give an accurate review of what we had, not based on any bias. When you’ve had as many theme park meals as I have, maybe then people will respect your opinion ;)

  2. I agree with the first post. The 0-7 scale is just laughably asinine. Otherwise, I love visiting this site.

  3. I think the scale out of 7 is a nod to the old test track pre show. Hard to explain if you don’t know it. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I ate here last week and had the plain steak fries and I give that 7 out of 7.

  4. Hey, trolls –
No two people are going to give the same opinion regarding FOOD. If you don’t like Tom’s, go troll somewhere else…jeez. Why do people act like they are forced to read this (or any) website and then provide their OWN negative and biased opinion…
