It’s beautiful! The whole new design is just perfect. Hoping it’s only a matter of time before they give the show itself some much needed attention.
And next week they’ll probably close it.
…I actually really loved the old sign. They can just sent that my way and I’ll put it in my yard.
This reminds me of the old marquis at Epcot Center, in the 80s, when each pavillion had its own symbol.
Good to see that this classic attraction is getting the respect it deserves!
The ride itself has received some internal refurbishment as of June 2017. The audio levels have been adjusted so the dialogue now is clear for the additional characters in Scene 1. The “rain” functions again during the storm, and the obnoxious grinding during Scene 2’s room switch behind the two-way panel on the right has been fixed. You can also tell they’ve cleaned the entire thing top to bottom as the appliances have a nice shine now, and they’ve moved a few props and decor items around.
Grandma’s outfit in the TV Boxing scene is new, and Uncle Orville’s fan has been moved farther to the left.
