As we had speculated, the official opening of Pandora: The World of AVATAR at Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be May 27th, 2017.
This was announced this afternoon on the company’s earnings call.

Resort guests get to experience Pandora an hour before everyone else. As of right now they have extra magic hours from 8am-9am on that date according to the my Disney experience app.
I’d rather listen to the Avatar joke of the week than see this actually open.
Ugh I would LOVE if by some miracle they soft open at the beginning of May while we’re there!
Any chance for a soft open during Easter weekend while I’m there. It’s a long shot but can only hope.
