Officially opening today, the Paddlefish restaurant replaces what was Fulton’s in Disney Springs. The new elegant seafood establishment invited us to take a look inside last night during a special VIP event, so here’s a quick look at what guests will see when they enter the reimagined eatery:
The check-in area.
The dining room on the bottom floor near the paddlewheel.
The dining and bar area at the front of the ship’s 1st floor.
What I thought was most stunning was this area on the 1st floor, opened up with some fantastic large windows that offer unrivaled views.
The second floor isn’t bad either though…
Yes, we had to look in the bathroom (before anyone arrived, mind you). There are little tile paddlewheels on the ground!

At sunset, the views were even better.
Up to the third floor, which has a rather large lounge area in the front and back.
There is a dining room on the third floor as well.

I didn’t have a nicer camera with me sadly, but the nighttime views from the top were phenomenal, much better than the STK patio.
We will have a full food review of the for and drinks from Paddlefish coming during the week (we still need to try more of the menu this weekend, including the exciting-looking brunch menu). Until then…
Sure, it looks fresh and clean, but it looks like a canteen to me. No romntic or intimate atmosphere at all. I like the upperdeck most. Views must be amazing at night.
That’s how I felt after seeing the concept art, but it’s really charming in person for some reason despite the sterile colors. The windows everywhere really make it quite pleasant.

Doesn’t look much different than Fultons. But thought that was great just glad they didn’t get rid of it.
I was never in Fulton, but this looks very elegant to me. Can’t wait to see and hear about the food. Must say this is definitely more impressive than your last review of Planet Hollywood. One quick though before I go. Instead of putting an NBA experience into the old Disney Quest, why not lobby Dave and Busters to put one of their adult Chuck E Cheeses in there? That way everybody gets what they want. Disney gets a cash cow with another restraunt and the fans get to keep their arcade. Or is that just too much progressive thinking?
I would love for Dave & Busters to go in instead of NBA Experience….the end result would appeal to more people, for sure. I guess it’s too late for other options, though. Maybe they’ll build one some day when something new fails enough to close for good.
Looks so good, can’t wait to try it out. Looks so much different than Fulton’s did, beautiful,outside seating.
Great Thread. I loved it when it was the Empress Lily the Best. The fantail had fun live entertainment anthe best Tom Sawyer drinks. Miss those days. Really geared for adults.
