As of right now, registration is open for 10 days of annual passholder previews of Pandora: the World of AVATAR between May 13th and May 22nd, 2017.
Some details on the event from Disney:
Passholder In-Park Preview for Pandora – The World of Avatar
You’re invited to get an early peek of a groundbreaking destination–Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park. Here, you’ll be among the first to experience expeditions where you can fly on the back of a banshee, walk under floating mountains and navigate a mystical Na’vi River. You’ll also be able to purchase international-inspired cuisine from Satu’li Canteen and merchandise from Windtraders. This world beyond belief awaits you.
Passholders can pre-register by making an online reservation for one in-park preview time slot. Event capacity is limited. Please note the number of reservations for this event is limited and subject to availability. There is no additional charge for this in-park preview with valid theme park admission.
Please note: as this is an early exploration, access to specific activations and some areas of the Valley of Mo’ara within Pandora – The World of Avatar may be limited during your visit.
- All Guests must be Passholders in order to register for a time slot to preview Pandora – The World of Avatar.
- Guests may only register for one (1) time slot over the course of the preview period.
- If an Annual Passholder would like to register a Guest to accompany them, that Guest must also have a valid annual pass for admission to the event’s theme park location on the date of the event, be listed on your Family &
- Friends list and have opted to share “All My Plans” with you.
- Passholders with confirmed reservations will receive an additional email with details on how to check in for this experience, by May 12, 2017.
- All Guests must present their valid annual pass (or linked MagicBand), government issued ID and confirmation page to a Cast Member in order to enter Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park and Pandora – The World of Avatar on the date of your preview.
- Availability is subject to change without notice.
- Event is subject to cancellation in the event of inclement weather.
- Guests must meet appropriate boarding and height requirements for the attractions.
- Capacity is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Due to limited capacity, modifications to existing reservations will not be available.
- Limit one reservation per Passholder. Reservations are nontransferable and void if sold or otherwise transferred.
Registration is open now at this link and will be filled on a first come first serve basis.
According to the article a few days ago, it was supposed to happen at beginning of April. Alternative Facts or just bad sources?
As the article said, if you read it, things are subject to change. I tweeted the correction last night before this even came out. Sometimes things pan out and sometimes they don’t.
Link doesn’t work? Please advise…
It works, try a different browser. I just tested it.
DVC jus sent out an email, with same dates. Except their preview is from 9am-11am. Same info, too.
I have not received anything from DVC :-(
Erica, you must have a room reservation at a DVC resort between the 13th-22nd.
We have a reservation and haven’t gotten the email. Now we keep on refreshing our email…
Got mine
Link is not working for me :(
Why won’t the link work? Is this some kind of joke?
They have been having issues all morning, a lot of people are trying all at once.
I’m an Avatar. Call me Naví Joe. I make alien noises when I poop.
I already registered but I never got the confirmation email, but when I go to register again it says I’m already registered…. am I the only one with this error :(
You may want to call and check.
Current wait for phone assistance is around 50 minutes.
Source: On hold for over 30
Did you get through? I didn’t get an email either
It worked for me, I am already booked!
If I have a AP voucher that I am turning into an actual AP on May 16th, can I still sign up for this
You would have to call.
NO EVENT FOUND….NO EVENT FOUND….NO EVENT FOUND………..
FOUND EVENT!!!! Finally!! Who hoo!!
Is anyone getting the link to open, but then the Primary Guest and Registered Guest has nothing under it? Not sure what to do from here.
Both you and the guest need to be annual passholder and both of you have to share all plans to show up as a registered guest.
It only showed the page I was suppose to print for one second and then it was gone. I don’t know what to do now ????
As of 3/24 at 12:30pm, only 16th, 17th and 18th are available. On the 16th, only 1pm to 3pm and 3pm to 5pm are available. No weekend spots left.
I can’t even get in to the system.
I don’t have an annual pass, because I am no longer a Florida resident, but my sister does. We will both be in Orlando May 9-13th. I plan on getting Disney tickets while I’m there. If she registers for the Pandora preview, would she be able to bring me as a guest?
It says: If an Annual Passholder would like to register a Guest to accompany them, that Guest must also have a valid annual pass for admission to the event’s theme park location on the date of the event. So unless you get an annual pass she won’t be able to take you.
I keep getting this message even though I’m only trying for a party of 1:
No Events Found
Please try adjusting your party size. You may also want to double-check that each Guest entered is an eligible Passholder and that you haven’t already registered for this event.
Found out about this at 11:50cst finally got signed in – all spots gone by 11:59. :( So disappointed!! There was supposedly an email that went out to pass holders – I didn’t get one. The same thing happened for reserved seating for Festival of he Arts Concert.
Really????? I didn’t even get an email yet!
Sooo pissed I never received an email about this! ????????
If you are a DVC Member and staying onsite they still have availability.

Wonder why all of us didn’t get an email? I have reservations for that week. Called around 11 this am and the spots were booked. ????
The email was spaced out in groups of 25,000…
Thanks Disney. Want to know when my email came…12:36 pm THIS AFTERNOON!!!! How in the heck was I ever suppose to know about that AFTER THE FACT? There are no slots available anymore.????
Thank you TOM .because i seen his story earlier went to toms link at 9am had my confirmation at 915 for sat .
Nice try Tom.
I wish that Disney actually sent the email to all the passholders. I never received it. I have checked my info and they have my correct email but i never received it. But this is the Disney way. They are happy to tKe my money but not send me info that i should get with my annual pass.
My email came at 4:36 pm and everything was gone by then. Disappointed that the email was sent so late, when many of the slots were taken.
Tried to sign up tonight, event is full! How sad.
We are disney pass holders and we didnt get a email either . And I try to register on the site it just says event is full . Are they going to open up.any more ???even being pass holders we can never get on new rides when they open :(
I seriously had no idea about this. How do we get opted in to these kind of emails alerting if there is an AP only event thing?
We have been passholders for 5years and never get emails to ride rides before the public . Why is this ?????and it really stinks knowing we live here and only get 30 days put to get a fast pass. It will probably be over 6months before we can get one
Diane, I am with you!!! We never receive ANY notice of ANY special perks for being passholders. To have to read about it after the fact is just annoying. We shouldn’t have to search for our benefits that WDW sold us on as perks of being passholders. Disappointed to say the least!
