With the Walt Disney Company taking control of Disneyland Paris, it is no secret that executives are eyeing a massive overhaul and expansion of the resort similar to projects executed at the other Disney Resorts around the world since 2007. Today, Disney Chairman and CEO Bob Iger was spotted with Walt Disney Imagineering President Bob Weiss, Senior Creative Executive Tom Fitzgerald, and others touring Disneyland Park at the Parisian resort.

While Disney has not announced any details of an expansion plan for the resort, rumors are abundant that several MARVEL themed attractions are planned for Walt Disney Studios Paris including Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission Breakout. Several enhancements and additions should also be in the works for Disneyland Park as well, but it could be some time until we get any sort of an update on any of this.

  1. Speaking of marvel attractions, I wish that the iron man experience like at HK will come to Walt Disney studios Paris. In Disneyland park I also wish that tron coaster like at shanghai and soarin attraction will come and locate at the discoveryland.

  2. That’s exciting news! Having visited Disneyland Paris in recent years, it defiantly needs an upgrade. It was beautiful and unique in its own way but at the same time it was missing something more. The secondary park was just odd. The ratatouille attraction was very cool but the rest of it was…meh. Also the buildings with paint peeling and trash on the ground caught me off guard.

I cant wait to see how they snap it into gear!

  3. Le problème c’est que pleins de rumeurs arrivent sur notre Resort mais elles sont souvent infondés..
Disneyland Paris n’a jamais vraiment aimé communiqué sur ses développement..

The problem is that we have many rumors unfounded..
Then Disneyland bets does not like communicating :'(

    Sorry for my english ;)
