Some Animal Kingdom Entertainment Going Dark November 4th to Accommodate Filming

Filming for upcoming television specials will take place at Disney’s Animal Kingdom on Saturday, November 4th, prompting some shows to go dark for just that day.

The following entertainment offerings will not be available to guests on November 4th: Tree of Life Awakenings, Winged Encounters, Discovery Island Carnivale, Viva Gaia Street Band, and Sunset Serenatas. Additionally, PhotoPass photographers will not be stationed in front of the Tree of Life or the Oasis bridge. As well, Russell from UP will be relocated to the Flame Tree Barbecue area for the day.

  1. It’s the Animal Kingdom
    And it moves us all
    Through despair and hope
    Through faith and love
    Till we find our place
    But not through filming
