Our latest photo report brings us to Disney’s Cinemagine theme park Hollywood Studios to see the latest progress on this park in transition…
The Road to Hollywood
Construction continues on the new ramps that will take guests to and from Disney’s Hollywood Studios along Osceola Parkway.
This overpass practically goes into the Art of Animation parking lot…
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge as seen from the road.
Here we see the massive show building for the Millennium Falcon attraction.
Large portions of the parking lot are being closed to be reworked.
OK, let’s enter Cinemagine Hollywood Studios…
Disney’s Skyliner
Work continues on the Skyliner station for Disney’s Cinemagine Hollywood Studios.
This and That
These Disney Babies plush aren’t that new, but I just want to buy the sign for them.
It says “take me home”, but I doubt they would let me.
You know what this store needs? MORE TOY STORY MERCHANDISE!
We spotted some new items at Rock Around the Shop at the exit of Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster.
The mug is $22.99
Several shops at Cinemagine Hollywood Studios now have express lanes for electronic payment methods only.
Cinemagine the Shopping
There is an entire new line of Disney’s Cinemagine Hollywood Studios logo merchandise now available at the park.
This tee is $36.99.
This one is also $36.99.
The tote retails for $29.99.
The tumbler is $17.99.
Each park has its own luggage tag now.
Drinking to Forget That We Went to Cinemagine Hollywood Studios
We decided to try the Frozen Italian Margarita at PizzeRizzo…
It was surprisingly good, believe it or not.
Andy’s Backyard Working Studio
The entrance to Toy Story Land is being paved, so you’ll see lots of new pavement and planters before you get to PIXAR Place.
Remember the lead up to Pandora where we looked down that ruined bridge for months in anticipation? Well, Toy Story Land has two un-themed buildings you walk between.
This piece of pavement was drying as we walked by, but when we walked back, the ropes were being taken down. I of course had to be the first to walk on it.
Mouse-cellaneous
The Stormtroopers now do meet and greets outside of Launch Bay where they invite certain guests up for a photo.
The Wrinkle in Time preview is now playing at Walt Disney Presents. If you are excited to see this movie, I may suggest skipping this preview as it may end that for you.
With one track currently closed, Toy Story Midway Mania is a mess right now. They aren’t even using the real entrance anymore.
The standby and FastPass are now routed through this side door into the queue.
While the standby line is located on both sides of the path, kids can hula hoop in the middle of the street.
Walls at the eventual exit of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway.
There’s a menu board for ABC Commissary that is quite far from the restaurant.
Some new items for sale.
A lot of new mint tins.
A $100 Minnie Mouse Signature Doll, Limited Edition of 6000.
Some new Disney Parks candy bars for sale. We NEED to try these. Would you want to hear if they are any good in a review?
The Darkroom now has a new sign on the exterior, “Where Fabulous is Always in Focus”.

“Cinemagine” would be a truly, epically terrible name for a theme park.
IP freely lets guests know that there no limits or connecting theme at all to the IP. A rat muppet run NY pizza place in modern day LA by the Star Tours set next to a dinosaur where Roger Rabbit broke a window etc. It does not matter
“IP freely”
Heh heh heh heh.
I couldn’t agree with you more completely!
Nice try with the joke(s), didn’t work.
Thanks for the pictures.
Yes please review the new chocolate bars! Thanks for the update!
Tom go for laugh, no get!
Hi Tom, awesome post. Do you know what this toy on the Toy Story merch picture is, located between Buzz’s costume and the tshirt? Looks like a trash picker/gun. We had no luck finding it online and we are super curious!
Thanks!
Oh nvm we found it!
So…tower of terror is like the parks centerpiece now? Meh.
I don’t know why you’d (mistakenly) interpret that ToT is the centerpiece of the park based on a few pieces of merchandise. And, say what you want about the equally mistaken assertion of it being a “Meh” attraction, at least it’s operational.
