With Disney Skyliner construction ramping up as of late, land has now been cleared across the waterway at International Gateway so that the gondolas can reach Epcot.

The gondolas will travel behind the France pavilion (practically over the new Ratatouille attraction area in fact), across the water, and down into the station when completed.

There ares some fences on the other side of the flower bed as well, for some reason.

As you can see in the art above, the two lines go right over the Friendship Boat dock.

Construction continues on the station just outside of the Epcot entrance at International Gateway.

A look from inside of Epcot.

The Disney Skyliner is expected to open in 2019 at Walt Disney World.

You can learn more about the Disney Skyliner system here, and be sure to check out the new concept art for the Epcot, Pop Century/Art of Animation, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios stations.

  1. I wonder if you have heard of any plans to make the international gate way larger. In my opinion this will significantly increase the number of guests entering and using this entrance. Without an expansion of the gates it could bottle neck and be a huge disaster.
