Ahead of the April 26 opening of Disney • Pixar Toy Story Land at Shanghai Disney Resort, guests can now dine at the Toy Box Cafe. This comes just over a week after Woody and Jessie took their place at the entrance to the new land.

Available dishes at the Toy Box Cafe include a blend of Western and Chinese options inspired by the film series, such as Alien Spicy Seafood Pizza, Baked Sweet Potato with Marshmallow and Bubble Waffle with Strawberry Ice Cream. More traditional options like Gong Bao Chicken with Rice, Braised Pork Rib and Baked Seafood with Rice are also available.

The restaurants are designed to look like the packaging for Buzz Lightyear, Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head and Lotso, with seating at oversized toy tables, all to carry on the theme of the land that gives guests a toy-sized POV. According to the story of the Toy Box Cafe, Andy was playing in the backyard with Buzz, Woody, Slinky and the rest of his toys when he ran in for a snack. Before heading inside, he setup a cafe of boxes and toy furniture for his plastic pals.

Disney • Pixar Toy Story Land will be the first major expansion since Shanghai Disney Resort opened in 2016. This new area will include three new attractions, Slinky Dog Spin, Rex’s Racer and Woody’s Round-Up, and a character greeting area. The resort currently has a Toy Story-themed hotel, as well as the Buzz Lightyear Planet Rescue attraction and a float in the train-themed Mickey’s Storybook Express parade that features Woody, Buzz, Rex and Slinky Dog.
