The March Magic 2018 virtual tournament starts today at ShopDisney.com with Limited Release merchandise, including shirts, hoodies, baseball caps, and stainless steel water bottles emblazoned with team logos. Some of our favorites include the California Screamers, an ode to an attraction that closed forever on January 8, 2018, and Dr. Marsh’s Iguanodons, which is the first team in March Magic themed after a pre-show. Also new this year is Groot’s Guardians, which is the first time a Marvel property has been featured in the tournament.
There is also a tumbler like last year featuring all 16 teams’ logos (last year’s tumbler was not a Tervis, and we have no indication that this year’s tumbler is a Tervis).
There is an actual bracket of 8 out of the 16 teams, and you can vote for your favorites on Facebook. The other 8 teams not included in the bracket are called “Sideline Stars.”
What a downgrade from last year
Horrible teams this year. Such a let down.
No Adventureland team this year. I remember my dad having the orange bird Adventureland team t-shirt.
