The Guardians of the Galaxy Rollercoaster coming to Epcot has gone vertical! Well actually, it’s just the structure that will hold the rollercoaster that has gone vertical but you get the idea. This is the first support piece of the building that will house the coaster, or as most call it, a “gravity building”.
Note that this is not the final height of the structure. The show building will be 12 stories tall and will be quite visible from several vantage points around the entrance plaza of Epcot.
Earlier this month, Disney released a video showing the completion of the foundation that will hold the building.
The gray building behind the crane is actually the show building formerly housing Body Wars and is attached to the Wonders of Life pavilion which is undergoing some sort of refurbishment.
Unless these trees grow a lot taller, you’ll be able to easily see the show building from the parking lot.
You’ll also be able to see it from the entrance plaza.
I believe this to be a crane being assembled…not part of the building or attraction ride.
