Disney has released a video of a new technology they are working on called Stuntronics. These new robotic figures developed by Walt Disney Imagineers, perform extreme aerial maneuvers 60 feet in the air, making real-time decisions for when to tuck, turn, and stick the perfect landing.

Now that Disney has the robot steadying itself and posing in mid-air, the next step is getting it to look real. Or rather, more human. This is all made for high-flying action in Disney Parks – we’re excited to see it in films so we don’t get as much rubberman effect.
